she's here! meet the "sloan" coffee table. it's a marriage between the quirk of willy rizzo's inset tray and the functionality and casualness of reclaimed wood. then, to top it off, we couldn't refrain from adding a touch of "luxury" and shine in the form of antique brass rivets. we love her and keep thinking of all the great things we could do with the inset tray. hmmm...
one of our tip top favorite materials is brass...brass anything: brass bowls, brass boxes, spiny brass sea urchins, even brass colored pencil holders. we're impartial and totally hooked.
to say that we adore stark's antelope carpet is more than mildly understated. it offers a neutral ground cover with an unexpected and marvelously subtle pattern to give it just enough interest. on a medium stain hardwood floor, it has the added benefit of visually expanding the space and, for most, that's always welcome.
